Susanna Ficklin is a freelance illustrator and educator residing in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and three pets. She specializes in custom illustrative work including stationery, repeat patterns, and package design. Her work features simple and eye catching color palettes and a unique hand drawn aesthetic utilizing both digital and traditional media. Susanna teaches an array of fine arts courses including Drawing, Illustration, Graphic Design, and Art History at two colleges local to Charlotte. She received her BS in Art Education from Appalachian State University in 2016 and her MFA in Illustration from SCAD in 2021.
